The division Mining and Rock Excavation Service provides a broad range of services with the aim of maximizing customers' productivity. We focus on spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training. The divisional headquarters are located in Örebro, Sweden, and the distribution centers are located in China, Sweden and the United States.

Mission
Your mission in the role of Global Demand Planner is to coordinate the global demand planning process with all the regions to ensure we can execute the Sales & Operations planning process efficiently. You will support the regions in implementing the process and engage with global functions to validate the global demand plan, and coordinate requirements with the supply planning team.
Job description
• Drive implementation of the global demand planning process, by supporting and coordinating the process with the regions
• Support regions in establishing the regional demand planning process
• Consolidation of regional demand plans to a global plan
• Coordination and preparation for global S&OP meeting
• Validate the global demand plan with global marketing team and get required input for the global consolidation
• Report global demand plan to Global S&OP manager
• Coordinate with supply planning team for responses to the global demand plan- Implementation and follow-up of forecast adjustments at global level
• Communicate any input from a central perspective that needs to be considered in the planning process by the regions
• Analyze forecast accuracy and take corrective actions
• Coordinate process requirements with the global process owner
• Participate in projects to implement new processes and systems functionalities
• Contribute to the supply chain competence development throughout our organization
• Cross functional interaction to secure we work together to improve customer service
Education and experience
• Experience in planning and forecasting.
• Experience in end-to-end supply chain management involving distribution, inventory management, and project management.
• Background in spare parts management at Epiroc or equivalent industries
• Experience of project management and implementing changes in a global organization
• Strong English communication skills both verbal and written. Additional language will be preferred.
• University degree in Economics/Business Administration, Supply chain/Logistics, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience required.

You have great communication skills both in speech and writing and use the network around you to achieve results. You are analytical, like to identify improvement opportunities and better ways of doing things. It is important that you have a structural way of working and can manage multiple project plans and activities. You have an interest in working internationally and have excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of different cultures. Willingness to travel occasionally.
