We are now looking for a Global Capacity Manager to the Inbound Supply team based in Kista.
This position has two main areas of responsibility, with approximately 50/50 split of time during the year.
As VPA coordinator, you will assume global responsibility for the group supply activities executed for providing forecast volumes to group sourcing in the yearly VPA project, and the implementation of new agreements. The purpose of the VPA project is to negotiate agreements (terms and prices) for all Ericsson hardware that will be purchased next year. The scope is all product areas, internal & external factories and hubs, 30 000 Part numbers, and 3.5 BUSD value.
You will also be Global Capacity Manager. As Global Capacity Manager, you will be responsible for providing inbound capability visibility and analysis for a product range. You act as a link between the product/customer dimension and the component/supplier dimension and provide insights in how a product upside impacts critical material, and how the material situation impacts our ability to fulfill customer demand. One part of the job is to perform weekly & monthly analysis, reporting, and drive capability improvements. A second part is to engage in new product introductions and other longer-term activities, and a third part is to propose, engage in, and drive various projects, and improvements of ways of working and tools for our inbound supply chain.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
VPA Volume Coordination:
Be project manager for the VPA volume loading project. Set time plan, plan & coordinate activities for the team and other stakeholders. Coach & instruct to ensure everyone knows what to do, how and when.
Validate data quality, find potential errors, feedback to persons responsible and initiate corrective actions
Corporate with persons from supply sites and central supply functions, (IT-) system experts, and various functions at Group Sourcing to ensure sourcing has correct data for the VPA supplier negotiations (How much hardware will we purchase, and what locations will consume).
Be responsible for continuous improvement of the process, instructions, and tools that have been developed and are available for the VPA volume loading activities.
Capacity Management:
Analyze and provide information to supplier management teams and other stakeholders & management on what material that is, or risk to become, most gating for Ericsson's global delivery capability, and what our product level material capability is.
Understand product roadmap, and significant market/customer demand changes and communicate to Inbound supply colleagues. Provide guidance on the component level impact and initiate relevant activities.
Have good knowledge of the visualization/big data analysis third party software QlikView, and use that and MS Excel to perform analysis and create insights.
Contribute in or drive projects and activities to improve the process and tools related to forecasting, planning, inventory management and related analytics.
Key Qualifications & Competencies:
University degree in Engineering / Business or equal work experience. Statistical knowledge
Min years of experience (Recruiter to supply)
Domain experience: (Recruiter to supply area of expertise - e.g.: Cloud, BSS, OSS etc.)
Experience from logistics and/or production
Experience from supply and global logistics
Good knowledge in mathematical and statistical analysis.
