Global Attachments is responsible to drive development of the attachment product portfolio and maximize the attachment business, including tactics and activities to support the regional sales organization.
As owner of the Volvo CE Attachments business, the drive for continuous improvements is a central task for the team. You will be responsible for attachments improvement initiatives where you need to involve and engage colleagues from other functions globally and practice your great leadership skills.
MAIN TASKS
• Manage and develop Level 3 (non-Volvo branded attachments) to increase attachments IR (Installation Rate)
• Product range strategies, define what attachment products to be in our Level 3 offering
• Supplier strategies, define what supplier product offerings to be available
• Level 3 business model
• Verification process
• Assure high attachments availability and short lead time for each channel to market in cooperation with Global Logistic, PnSM and Regions
• Plant supplied (factory fit) and
• Loose supplied (APS hub)
• Supplier supplied (Direct ship)
• Drive roll out of Direct ship concept to improve lead time and cost
• Keep track on SCoS development and initiate actions if needed
• Manage IR, SCoS, Quality cost and availability for each attachment type in cooperation with Global Logistics, Product Platform and PnSM
• Find and drive business improvements optimized from a Volvo CE-dealer-customer perspective
• Support stakeholders with relevant supplier/ availability information facilitating actions to increase attachments IR
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assure necessary actions are taken if availability is not meeting the targets and secure progress to come back on target level
• Take actions if SCoS development is not meeting the requirements
• Secure an efficient Level 3 process with short time-to-market approach, with products meeting the customer needs in each market
AUTHORITIES
• Define Supplier/ product strategies for Level 3 business
• Define Direct ship product- market- supplier roll out requirements to drive increased attachments business

COMPETENCE
• Strong supply chain experience, from attachments suppliers is a merit
• Extensive experience in driving business in a global organization
• Knowledge of Volvo CE WLO and EXC machine ranges
• Understanding of customer needs in different WLO and EXC segments & applications and specifically on attachments business
• Experience from working cross-functional
• Fluent English
• University degree in relevant area
