Westermo Train Networks is looking for an Account Manager for global customers

Westermo is technology provider for various kinds of industrial data communication networks. We serve customers' mission critical applications in process and manufacturing industries, power and water utilities as well as a range of transportation markets. In recent years, Westermo Train Networks has attracted a number of new global customers and consequently our market position has been strengthened substantially. We now want to leverage on this success and further develop our business and partnerships with these customers.

You will maintain and expand professional relationships with selected strategic large customers. Your main goal is to drive growth and establish strong business and technology partnerships. You will be assigned about ten (10) named customers and be responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.

You will proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis and drive solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of necessary Westermo personnel.

You will represent the complete range of Westermo's products and services to the assigned customers, while leading the account planning cycle and ensuring customers' short and longer term needs and expectations are met by Westermo. Thus, the job includes tight cooperation with the Westermo Product Managers to assure short and long term product fit.

Most customers are managed centrally by the Train Networks team. However, a few accounts generate significant local business, thus the job also includes coordinating local sales activities around the globe as regards to sales coaching, pipeline management, opportunity management, price management and revenue forecasting.

You report to Erik Danielsson, Vice President Westermo Global Industries.
Qualifications and Personal Skills

We are looking for a person with a background from working in a global engineering company who can combine sales drive with business development.

We foresee that you have experience of managing major international accounts at head office level, have a previous experience in B2B Account Management or Territory Sales and that you have strong relationship building skills.

Experience from leading and motivating a small team would be an advantage.

Key for your success is a strong goal orientation with a winning attitude, working towards corporate, team goals and personal goals in a structured manner. We need you to have solid business acumen and be savvy in international business.

You have a Master's Degree in Engineering. Skills in the fields of computer science and data communication are clearly valuable.

The international business environment requires you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional language skills is a merit.

You must be prepared to travel 40-50 days per year.
