We are now looking for a business oriented person who, in a leadership team together with our CEO, can continue to build EPD International as the globally leading and most credible program operator for the future.
The demand for EPDs is increasing exponentially in the business world. With IVL's subsidiary "EPD international", our globally demanded services, high LCA know-how and professional customer service we contribute to and drive this development.
About the role
As our client service manager, you will be responsible for further developing EPD International's client relations both in Sweden and internationally.
This includes ensuring that the secretariat delivers according to the company's business and market goals, as well as contributing to, together with the CEO, new ambitious goals for the future. It would also include contributing to the Internationalization work.
You will lead a team of two to three people and tasks may involve managing customer support, building and maintaining customer relationships, defining market strategies and leading marketing activities.
Your Background
To succeed in the role
• you have a university degree, preferably with a focus on business development
• 5 years of work experience
• Been part of a consulting activity for life cycle analysis or management or part of the management layer of a growing business-driven company.
Any/some of the following experiences are also meritorious:
• Scaling up of service companies within an international market
• Work within a regulated market (ISO, CEN, a.s.o.).
• Leadership, informal or formal, and team building experience
• Customer-oriented work on a large or small scale
Your personal side
As a person, you like being part of a creative team and work quickly and efficiently based on needs. A mobile and flexible approach is also important as the tasks will vary as the company is in an intensive growth phase. You are used to both planning and implementing and scaling up routines and offers. You are good at expressing yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish and English. You are also curious, innovative, analytical and results oriented. We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics.
What we offer you
In the role, you are employed at IVL Swedish Environmental Institute and have your manager in the Business Development and Commercialization group, but you primarily report to the CEO of EPD International. This means that in addition to your team around EPD International, you are also part of a group of employees who work dedicatedly for our subsidiaries or as business developers for IVL's research activities. Via IVL, you also have access to our knowledgeable research team within Life Cycle Management
