hela Sverige Global External Sourcing (GES) is accountable for sourcing and supply of externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network. We are organised in a Process Centric Organisation (PCO) with two main processes; Supply to Customer and Establish New Supply to Customer, with a high focus on cross-functional team work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As Planning Lead you will lead a diverse team within GES planning comprising of Senior Supply Chain Co-ordinators, Supply Chain Co-ordinators and Customer Relationship Managers located mainly in Sweden (team roles and location could vary and cover US, UK and other global locations). The Supplier base that the team works with are contract manufacturers of Raw Materials, API?s, Formulated and Packed products, located across a number of different countries.
You will be responsible for ensuring fit for purpose Planning resources from the team are deployed to meet the needs of two main processes we operate within - i) Supply to Customer ii) Establish New Supply to Customer. Moreover, you will ensure that team members are trained according to the needs of the Supply Chains they support and that the group operates according to robust processes, in line with compliance requirements (GMP and financial).
Key accountabilities for the Planning Lead include (but are not limited to):
Customer Management with responsibility for customer segmentation to ensure that GES provides service at the right level.
Build, maintain and develop customer relations through the team.
Coaching and supporting the team to deliver their roles in the best way.
Active work with Practical Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement techniques in cross-functional teams, both as team member or team leader as appropriate.
You will work in close collaboration with other GES Planning Leads who are globally based, taking an active part in driving the development of the GES Planning Function, leading initiatives as assigned.
The work is executed in a global environment, with strong focus on cross-functional collaboration with other roles and functions, e.g. Finance, QA, Supply Chain Leads.
Key tasks include (but are not limited to):
Line management of Senior Supply Chain Co-ordinators, Supply Chain Co-ordinators and Customer Relationship Managers including performance management, coaching and support.
Ensure that the team has the capability and flexibility to support the business.
Maintain, develop and apply planning processes in line with AZ global business processes.
Responsible for delivery of financial compliance across the supply planning community in accordance with AZ SOX controls.
Responsible for the set up and maintain Global Service Level Agreements together with the Customer Director and regions.
Create a lean culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high performance.
Be responsible for GES Site Intelligence and other customer communiction as needed.
Developing, maintain and improve our customer service offering
Active contribution to the development of GES Planning Function direction and delivery of team targets.
