hela Sverige Cab Geometry Architect and Assurance group is responsible for ensuring all cab systems and concepts are geometrically compatible including the right convergence between design and technical executions.
Main Responsibilities
In this position you will the leading role for the Geometry Assurance across the Development Units, Product Design & Manufacturing for Cab in early phases to start of production.
As GAE you act cross-functional in the projects and needs to keep a holistic view to be able to distribute well balanced requirements to the different engineering teams.
You will work with optimization of datum target systems to ensure robust positioning of the parts as well as optimization of tolerances needed on parts or assembly to fulfil the Complete Cab esthetical and functional geometry requirements.
You will have the opportunity to work from early phases to the industrialization phase this will give you the possibility to follow you area from virtual to physical part in to project builds and start of production.

Required Competences
We need you how that have worked some years in the automotive industry with Car/Cab body and/or Exterior/Interior components and have very high experience in geometry assurance work.
In this position you also need to have:
• MSc degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Very good knowledge in the software RD&T or have the capability to learn new simulation software.
• Knowledge in Catia V5.
• English, both written and spoken.
