About the job
You're involved in generating a revenue stream from all our project offerings and you create a business model for our projects collaborating with the Sales Areas. You communicate with responsible stakeholders regarding the KPIs, and Targets associated with area of responsibility, thereafter, determine and develop the most efficient solution for advanced engineered product or project enquiries to all stakeholders at all levels. Making sure correct utilization of our Coromant Centers to run our customers' projects and education for our customers and employees is in your hands, as well as securing connection of our projects with all local business plans.
Your other responsibilities include:
• Determine the most efficient way in handling projects, designs, competences, and resources across borders
• Determine effective working procedures and processes necessary to meet expected lead times for advanced engineered solutions
• Determine and develop improvement areas supporting customer business requirements as well as brand image, including, but not limited to, design, assembly, packaging, as well as optimizing our way of working with alien products
• Actively participate in component mapping and maintaining latest solutions in component HUB
• Explore and Implement cost synergy opportunities across the markets in line with our "Do It Once" strategy
The location for this position is flexible globally and travel is part of your job and occurs 50% or more of your working time.
About you
We're looking for someone with people management experience in an international environment, in a direct reporting and matrix organization. A good overall knowledge of the metal cutting industry is needed as well as experience from leading projects of complex nature such as "transformation projects" at a global level. You have good general management skills, including planning, organizing, controlling, leading and innovating, together with motivational and developmental skills. This is backed up by at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or relevant working experience and internal trainings proving equivalent level of knowledge. Since we act in a global environment, your English skills, both verbal and written form, are of high quality.
Having a consultant approach, you put focus on customer needs and future trends. You're analytical and a problem-solver, with high level of organizational and prioritizing skills. With strong attention to detail, commitment to quality solutions and customer service, you're a self-motivator with the ability to multi-task to meet strict deadlines.
