The artist's studio is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join the team as early as May, 2019.A strong preference will be given to candidates with exceptional organisational skills, proficient at following through a wide variety of creative projects efficiently. The candidate must be a qualified problem-solver, and able to work well in a team while also bringing projects to fruition independently and rigorously. He/she/they must have experience working in a high-paced environment and maintain a strict work ethic with a focus on multi-tasking, rigorous attention to consistency and detail, as well as excellent English language communication skills.The Project Manager will assist in the production of various commissions, exhibitions and publications projects. Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Oversee production schedules and budgets for comprehensive creative projects.- Coordinate the execution of large-scale exhibitions with international museums, non-profit institutions, auction houses, publishers and galleries. - Research new producers, production materials and procedures.- Assist the studio with daily tasks, such as scheduling, invoicing, and travel arrangements.- Conduct research and prepare presentations on given research topics in the form of proposals for new projects.-Prepare texts and work descriptions for internal and external use.Qualifications:- Superior ability to take on a wide variety of projects at once, high stress tolerance and adaptability.- Excellent English language skills in speech and writing are a must, German and/or French language skills are advantageous.- Previous work experience in the art field. Association with the gallery-, institution-, and/or auction circuit is a plus. - An educational background in art business, curating, art history, or equivalent. - Superior level of independence, accountability, and initiative.- Keen interest in contemporary art and knowledge of current art events.- A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office is a must. Experience working in SketchUp and Rhinoceros 3D is a plus. -A valid driver's license is an advantage.- Candidate must be prepared for frequent and extended periods of travel for site visits as well as worldwide exhibition installation and project coordination.Please submit your CV and cover letter including contact details for two references to
