We are looking for a front-end developer to join Keystone's development team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to work with cutting edge technology and take a new approach to web development.
Keystone is on an exciting journey to become a product-centric company, with cross-functional squads fully owning their digital products, agile and lean methodologies, steering by means of OKRs, etc.
You'll be working closely with other developers in your team, product managers, SEO's, UX and content specialists to support and grow our sites, and you'll benefit from exposure to many different projects across our portfolio of Higher Education brands. We are also planning to further modernize our platforms and you will have the opportunity to join this challenging but exciting undertaking.

What you will do
• Developing new features and iterating existing features in our new Next.js-based frontend.
• Build our public and internal web frontends.
• Code standards, code reviews, technical planning/research, testing/QA
• Investigate and solve bugs/customer issues.
• Assist in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects.
• SEO improvements (Google Analytics).
• Refactoring and restructuring of our existing codebase, upgrading to the latest framework versions, optimizing performance for a better end-user experience.
• Continuous deployment and monitoring of the logs.
Who we are looking for
• You have got 2-3 years of experience with: React, TypeScript, GraphQL.
• You are familiar with version control tools, CI/CD, unit testing
• You are familiar with modern web development and commonly used design patterns
• Bonus Tech Qualifications: working with APIs, Node, REST, SQL, SEO and Sanity.io along with its GROQ language.
• It's a big plus, but not essential, if you have knowledge of SEO web dependencies such as optimizing JavaScript, implementing updates for Lighthouse Core Metrics
• It is an advantage if you have experience with backend development as well.
• You have high accountability and ownership of your work.
• You are self-motivated, and a life-long learner.
• You care about working on fast-growing products while iterating and sweating the details.
• You are a product thinker who cares about the customer.
• You are fluent in English, verbal and written.
