hela Sverige You will be working in a team of highly qualified developers and designers to build and improve the My Opera community website (
http://my.opera.com) .
My Opera is the core of Opera's web services. With over 6.5 million registered users worldwide, My Opera is central to our product marketing. We offer services such as blogging, photo sharing, bookmarks, forums, groups and files.
We have a strong focus on utilizing web standards, ensuring interoperability across devices. You will share offices with skilled staff participating in the W3C standards processes and implementing the standards in our leading desktop and mobile web browsers.
Responsibilities:
Develop new features using the latest web technologies.
Maintain and update existing features, utilizing new technologies in the browser.
Collaborate with designers and back-end developers around the world.
Requirements:
Good working knowledge of English, written and spoken
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of, without reliance on, JavaScript Frameworks to create interactive interfaces and applications
Deep understanding of concepts like accessibility, graceful degradation, web APIs
Experience with cross-platform (including mobile) web development
Expert knowledge of the latest web technologies, including but not limited to HTML5, CSS3 and ECMAScript 5
