We are looking for a person with strong leadership skills, project management experience and a proven track record in change management.

A position has become available as a Financial Customer Relationship Manager to join Maersk Line, Scandinavia in our Head Office, Gothenburg - reports direct to CFO, Scandinavia.

As Financial Customer Relationship Manager in the Scandinavia Cluster for Maersk Line, you will gain insight into our global business and have a unique opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders and experienced colleagues who work in the heart of the shipping industry.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills by leading the Accounts Receivable and Root Cause Elimination Team to ensure the collection process works efficiently, as well as being overall responsible for the end to end invoice dispute handling process.

Root cause elimination initiatives are an important aspect of this role and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in close mutual co-operation with global stakeholders, so as to ensure ongoing solutions implemented are viable, sustainable and ultimately lead to improved invoice quality.

Key Responsibilities
The main responsibility of this role is to provide career planning to your staff and lead, coach and develop a ?team first? culture that will build sustainable cross functional relationships with the commercial team. In fact, the ability to establish a solid working relationship with key stakeholders, both internal and external will be the key to success in this role.

In terms of pure financial process, the key responsibilities centre upon securing the invoicing of our customers, ensuring follow up is done through statements, dunning?s and external collection is administered timely.

The position is also responsible for the end to end dispute handling process and this would mean that the successful applicant would be an active stakeholder together with the team in invoice quality improvement through effective change management techniques that are primarily aimed at driving the implementation of invoicing improvement projects.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate holds a minimum of a bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and is a strong leader with a proven track record with over 5+ years experience. We prefer that you also have 3+ years working within a finance/accounting environment. You are an extroverted team player who can lead the team and coordinate with other colleagues to successfully complete cross-functional projects - the ability to negotiate with senior management, both internally and externally is especially important in this respect.

You are assertive, intuitive, interpersonal savvy, customer focused with strong communication skills, which will enable you to engage and influence key stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in project and change management and the ability to execute projects cross functionally in mutual co-operation with the commercial team.

English, spoken and written is a requirement. Knowledge within a Scandinavian language is seen as advantageous.
