SUMMARY OF POSITION WITH GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

A new and exciting opportunity for the position Finance Coordinator, Nordic in Helsingborg has arisen.

The person will be a part of the Nordic Finance team with four people situated in Helsingborg. Reporting to the Finance Manager, Nordic, this role is responsible for providing financial and administrative services. The role involves general ledger month end closing and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as various monthly/yearly reports and providing these in an effective, accurate manner while ensuring deadlines are met. This role is also the tester and reporting of compliance (FCPA) and SOX controls, as well as the main contact regarding the internal annex process.

This truly is a supporting role within the organisation and a key player within the team. The successful candidate will establish and reinforce a company culture defined by commitment to customers, quality, performance, results, collaboration and accountability.

ROLE

• Monthly closing Norway and Finland
• Accounts reconciliations Nordic
• Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly closing
• Credit controls, keeping Bisnode update
• Reporting WEE directive for Nordic
• Various monthly/yearly management reports
• Updating FDM (Finance Department Manual)
• Tester of FCPA (compliance) and SOX controls
• Full control for the Annex process (health care compliance), administration, control & analysis
• Educate employees in the Annex process/Aravo
• User of BI/Edge & Narrowcast, setting up various reports
• Assisting with forecast/budget, input and upload both in Excel and in Hyperion
• Ad-Hoc reports, tasks and projects
• Back up for the Finance Coordinator
• Supporting the Finance team in various tasks

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will likely have a degree in business administration or equivalent.

Language knowledge: Fluency, both oral and written, in one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish) is required, coupled with working knowledge in Scandinavian. Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required.
We see that the candidate has 2-5 years of experience in accounting. The candidate has excellent knowledge and experience in Excel, alternatively a strong capability in developing excellent excel skills. Also experience in reporting within global companies is a merit.

This role has a need for a person with good analytical skills. Knowledge of JD Edwards and Compliance/SOX is a merit.

As a part of a team and with many current and on-going duties the successful candidate needs to be open minded with a great sense of service. This role includes on-boarding of new employees and educating current employees, therefore a high level of integrity and interpersonal skills is required. A good sense of the differences in the Nordic cultures is a merit.
