hela Sverige This role will see you positioned as a pivotal part of the leadership team for the client.
You will support the evolution of strategy and oversee the implementation of this strategy across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, general administration and operations and ensure the business delivers on its promises to clients and partners.
Responsibilities
• Lead operational execution to ensure the smooth running of the business
• Develop and manage business approaches, tools, systems, processes and controls
across functions and offices to grow the business in a scalable manner and meet
regulatory requirements
• Analyse key growth drivers, report and optimise performance against them
• Manage the financial health of the business ensuring effective resourcing and allocation
• Scenario planning for challenges, risks and opportunities to inform strategy and
tactical execution
• Help define the company strategy, organisational structure and infrastructure to align the company with ambitious growth plans
• Build, lead, develop, coach and motivate teams across operations and the wider business
• Shape, support and maintain the company culture, mission, vision and values
• Maintain and build trusted relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Support the CEO in matters of corporate governance, board and shareholder management
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have +8 years of experience leading Operations in a startup environment and understand what it takes to scale a fintech company. Your achievements and strengths include:
• Minimum of 8 years operational leadership experience (fintech related)
• A proven track record of leading and scaling a fast growth fintech company
• Experience in defining organisational structure, culture and infrastructure
• Experience building and managing organisations within regulated environments
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication capabilities
• Commercially minded and analytical with a growth mindset
• Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail and a track record of executing within tight timeframes
• In-depth knowledge of the UK fintech scene and a strong network across the key stakeholders
• Experience successfully raising investment in the startup and venture stage
