ArbetsuppgifterPosition Overview:
The Financial Accounting Manager will manage the day to day operations of the finance department and responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. Developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Supervise a staff of accountants ensuring that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely manner. The role addresses tight deadlines and a full range of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation etc. Key support to the FD in the budget & planning process an in supporting the extended European Sales & Marketing team in all finance related issues.
Wondering what you'd be doing?
• Prepares accurate and timely monthly financial information; compiles monthly trend analysis; ensures account analysis &/or reconciliations completed on a monthly basis
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly & year-end close in close coordination with HQ
• Monitors banking activities, prepares weekly cash flow activity and cash flow forecasting
• Ensures timely invoicing and debt collection
• Ensure Government compliance (Tax, VAT etc.) of all CGE affiliates are fulfilled and reported on time
• Establish sound accounting practices and controls ensuring all business risks are highlighted and develop solutions to ensure mitigation of said risks.
• Leads the annual audit process including preparing working papers for all CG Europe affiliates
• Ensure smooth & efficient administration of European Payroll & Expense reimbursement via local third party providers
• Develop & Maintain documentation of all key processes (SOP) within the finance area
• Support other areas within CGE from a finance perspective as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient organisation
• Manage staff performance, identifies training needs and provides technical guidance
ProfilHere's what we are looking for:
• University Education in Finance, specialising in Accounting/Auditing
• 3-5 Years' experience of qualified finance work leading a small team
• Working knowledge Swedish GAAP and reporting requirements
• Finance Qualifications (CA,CPA or CIMA)
• Local Swedish Finance Qualifications
• Budget & Planning
• Financial Statements Preparations
• MIS
• Experience from the Apparel industry
• Cross cultural working experience
• Computer & Systems - Fluent in ERP systems, Microsoft AX, preferable. (High Excel skills required)
• People management and team development skills.
• Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Credit & Debt management
• Languages: Written & Oral in English and Swedish
