For one of our biggest customers within the vehicle industry, we are now looking for three experienced Field Test Engineers, with a background from similar assignments to strengthen our team in Gothenburg. This is a great opportunity for you! We can offer you an exciting mission as a Field Test Engineer.
Job description
We're now looking to expand our mechatronical verification team, focusing mainly on verification of features and installations. The team prepares for and performs testing and measurements according to test codes in the area of bus & coach development (cooling performance, fuel consumption, accelerations, compressed air consumption, brake testing, etc.).
Main responsibilities as a test engineer:
• Analyze results.
• Present and write Engineering Reports.
• Write and develop test codes.
• Discuss test setup, results and improvement points with test requester.
Travelling will be required.
Qualifications
• Personal skills needed (industry experience, international experience, software, material etc.)
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Experience from test and verification work in the automotive industry.
• Drivers license for passenger car. Driver's license for bus is considered an advantage.
• Experience of CANalyzer and ATI Vision is considered an advantage
You needs to be able to face dealers and customers, and work independently (self-going).
It's a plus if you're not afraid to dig in and solve problems and use tools directly in the workshop.
