hela Sverige Do you want to be part of an exciting and growing industry? Our client Wabtec Faiveley Nordic AB is expanding their team and is now looking for a Field Service Quality Inspector positioned in Västerås.

In this position as a Field Service Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of Wabtecs products and services.
Here's what the role entails:
Responsibilities:
• Perform quality inspection of disassembly and assembly of doors according to inspection protocol.
• Raise any non-conformities during inspection and report them in the customer system.
• Communicate and coordinate corrective actions concerning the non-conformities.
• Ensure verification of corrective actions and closure of open points from internal and external inspections.
• Review and control all necessary documentation before sign-off.
• Ensure readiness and hand-over prior to customer inspection (both work and documentation).
• Conduct final inspection jointly with the customer.
• Collaborate daily with the Production Team Manager in the depot and the Project Quality Engineer.
Skills & Knowledge: In order to excel in this role, you will need:
• A degree in engineering technology or equivalent competence.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a mechanical environment.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office packages.
• General knowledge of quality, materials, and standards.
• Fluent in English, both in speech and writing.
• Familiarity with product safety and railway safety regulations.
