We are now looking for an enthusiastic F&B Supervisor for our restaurant & bar operations who has a passion for service, leadership and wants to be part of developing our Food & Beverage product.
You will report directly to the Restaurant & Bar Manager. The position is mainly for the evening operations.

Nordic Light Hotel is a lifestyle hotel where service, design, food, beverage as well the guests and the staff are the main focus. The location is hard to beat and in walking distance to most tourist attractions, central station, restaurants and bars.
Nordic Light Hotel offers 169 rooms, 15 conference rooms, a restaurant and bar.
The hotel is part of Nordic Hotels & Resorts which is owned by Nordic Choice Hotels. Some of the independent sister hotels are Hobo, At Six, Yasuragi, Hotel C, The Thief and many more.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining service levels according to the set standards
• Developing SOP's, sequence of service and other standards
• Assuring that colleagues will follow those standards
• Leading the team before, during and after service
• Run daily briefings and debriefs
• Coach and develop our staff members
• Scheduling according booking needs and set goals
• Responsible for a good working climate and that guests are always happy and returning
• Responsible for reporting defects or points of improvement to the management
• Responsible for maintaining reservations
• Be updated on guest feedback
• Co-responsible for monthly stock taking
• Responsible for following the cashier procedures and a balanced cashier at the end of the shift
• Co-responsible for developing the F&B concept together with the management team
• Be up to date with current bar and restaurant trends
• Co-responsible for obtaining the hotels environmental goals
Who are you:
• You have at least two years of experience as head waiter or similar role
• You have solid wine knowledge and interest in wines and other beverage
• You are a peoples person
• You have interest in the industry and update yourself about the newest trends
• You are an enthusiast about the job and willing to grow within the company and ready to get more responsibilities over time
• You like to take ownership and to work unsupervised
• You are a genuine and honest person who puts the guest first
• Able to keep calm and the overview in nearly all situations
• An absolute respect for other people and couldn't care less about gender, religion, sexual preferences, culture, handicap etc
• Always an example ambassador for the hotel and restaurant in and out of the job, including on social media
• Always maintaining a good working atmosphere and motivate your co-workers
• Preferably able to speak Swedish. English is a must.
