Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) - Let's introduce ourselves
Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is a program that is aimed to implement Volvo Cars' new Performance Steering Model based on a new Common Code Plan, supported by updated digital tools such SAP S/4 Central Finance module (CFIN), OneStream consolidation system and with the final milestone to enable decommissioning of the old HFM consolidation application. All this with the overall ambition to "reduce lead-time" in the Financial Reporting processes including Closing and FP&A as well as increasing the financial analysis capabilities for better and faster decision making.
Business Validation in EPM Program?
Business Validation is the process of assuring data quality in the flow where data is captured in source SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) at first, then translated and transferred to target SAP S/4HANA CFIN and OneStream consolidation system. Business validation helps to identify and resolve any data discrepancies within mapping and data translation logics in all systems involved, that may affect the reliability and usability of financial data.
What you'll do?
You will be preparing the business validation templates for all entities that use SAP ECC environment and will leverage S/4HANA CFIN to send financial data to OneStream - consolidation system. You will also lead and drive validation process and respective meetings with local and regional business stakeholders in accounting and controlling, entity by entity and/or by group of entities.
Other responsibilities:
• Completing the first data quality check to ensure that the data is clean, without any technical errors and can be handed to business for starting the validation process.
• Document and communicate any findings, issues, or recommendations to the relevant stakeholders and most importantly own and drive the resolution process with effective team collaboration.
• Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of OneStream solution, as well as support CFIN users via S/4 Fiori.
• Be the super user and support the organization with central knowledge on the entire end-to-end solution.
• Participate with active contribution in other workstreams of the program and running initiatives in the department as needed.
What you'll bring
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 6+ years of working experience within finance, accounting and financial analysis.
• Positive, flexible, driven with solution-oriented mindset. Strong desire to initiate, own and lead in areas of responsibility.
• Great analytical skills and a passion for solving problems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to see the big picture.
• Fluent in English
System Competences
• MS Office 365 applications, especially advance level in MS Excel.
• SAP S/4HANA CFIN experience is a plus.Want to know more?
