hela Sverige The Verification department RBS I&V, within PDU Radio Base Station, are responsible for Functional and Performance Verification of RBS6000 products on WCDMA/GSM/LTE.
The Environmental Verification unit, located in Kista, is responsible for the RBS verification regarding climate, mechanic, power and jitter & wander.
We are looking for a person who has experience of tools and test system design combined with a genuine interest for technology.
As a Test System Developer you will have the responsibility for the test system SW within Environmental verification in the development projects at PDU RBS.
Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
• Systemization, design and maintenance of tools and test case software.
• Development of test methodology related to new requirements and features
• Test system validation and early system test
• Be updated on the products to be verified
• Participate in pre-studies and investigations
• Participate in the development of the verification process
• Continuously inform and educate colleagues about tools and methods
• Update and maintain test environment according to requirements
Except for a genuine interest in the tasks above you also need:
• Excellent programming skills (e.g. Lab VIEW, C/C++, Perl, Tcl, Java)
• Experience to work in UNIX, Linux and PC development environment
• Experience of test environment development
• Like to work with people, have personal drive and be accurate
• Experience of RF and RF instruments is a plus
• Large degree of flexibility and a willingness to take on different tasks
• As we are working in an international environment, you should have a good command of English
• You should have a will to spread competence within the organization
• You should have a deep interest in technique and testing and be eager to solve related problems on the way
• Your educational background is Bachelor of Science or higher education, and/or long work experience in related job areas
