As qualified System Design Engineer, you work on system level (system management) and are the technically responsible of a specific system. The system can be as small as a function area, a node and a solution or as large as a complete telecommunication system. You will identify technical requirement on the system base on the business needs and opportunity and come up with system solution to meet the technical requirement.
RAN Application unit, is part of the PDU RBS System Management. This unit is responsible for systemization of RBS 6000 multi-standard solutions.
Responsibilities for this position:
• RBS Traffic interface towards RAN applications
• Perform technical investigations on RBS level in all phases for Multi-standard / Mixed mode configurations
• Responsible to deliver technical and project material
• Functional solutions in control plane: model based system design
You have a good technical knowledge on product/system and a good understanding on business. You enjoy working with customer and can provide technical solution base on customer requirements. You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.
You should also have
• A university degree or above in telecommunication, computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with telecommunication system management and or system integration.
• Process oriented and analytical
• Self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge
• Experienced in System design methodology
• Good written and spoken English
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
