This is the Group Trucks Technology Legal team
The GTT Legal team comprises of nine experienced and highly skilled lawyers and administrative colleagues operating in a truly global environment. Role description
Our new Legal Counsel will play a key role in providing proactive and business-oriented legal support to the GTT sub-organization responsible for recovering damages from suppliers delivering defective parts and will act as the lead in-house counsel in most supplier-disputes. Additionally, the role will cover the drafting and negotiation of various complex commercial agreements including research-, cooperation-, development- and technology license agreements as well as cover a broad range of topics, including providing general legal advice and support to the daily business operations. Also, providing relevant trainings and supporting documents such as contract templates and guidelines will be part of the work tasks.
Qualifications
A university degree in law with at least 10 years' experience from a law firm or as in-house legal counsel or equivalent experience
Solid experience from litigation and dispute resolution
High proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex international contracts combined with solid experience and knowledge in contract- and commercial law
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities and very good ability to apply legal- as well as business- and financial aspects in providing legal advice
Excellent networking and communication skills, including strong ability to build relationships
A proactive self-starter, comfortable operating autonomously but also a true team player
Good judgment and strong professionalism with integrity
High drive and energy - capability to drive change
