TA Group is a Swedish venture capital company. We are going to provide innovative Interenet services with cutting-edge IT technologies. The application we are developing at the moment will be launched globally within a near future.
Position Summary:
We're looking for a skilled and talented backend developer to join our team. You will be tasked with web system architecture, feature implementation, performance optimization and all-powerful backend developer must do in order to save the princess and unlock the next castle.
Responsibilities:
• New functionality & features implementation
• Amazon Cloud Infrastructure maintenance (EC2, S3)
• Automated Unit Test
• System performance tuning
• Mashup with SNS web service
• SEO
• Fix bugs fast in unfamiliar code
Requirements:
• Proficient in PHP programming, have 2+ years work experience in large-scale PHP application development.
• Proficiency with CakePHP framework
• Have PHP Unit Test experience, Familiar with Xdebug.
• Familiar with LAMP stack, capable of setting up environment in Cloud Infrastructure
• Self-motivated engineer who can take the initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team of engineers
• Familiar with software development life-cycle and agile methodology.
We'd love to see:
• Shell/Python programming skill
• Experience of PHP cache system, like sphinx.
• Basic knowledge of front end development, (HTML, CSS, Jquery)
• Experience with SNS web service mashup
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment with a VCS (we use Subversion)
