We are seeking an ESG Research Analyst to join our norms-based research team in Stockholm to complete basic and advanced analytical research into allegations of corporate involvement in practices in conflict UN Global Compact principles. Strong research and writing skills required.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Desk research
• Dialogue including meetings with companies and stakeholders
• Drafting of analysis reports
• Review of analysis reports by other members of the team
• Presentation of analysis findings for investors
REQUIRED SKILLS
Professional skills and qualifications:
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Either of the two below:
• Advanced degree (MA, JD or other advanced degree) in international law, international politics, international development, or similar field
• Strong academic qualifications (minimum Masters required. Masters in relevant field, such as international relations/law/politics desirable but not required.)
• Excellent user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent language skills, both written and oral. (Required fluency in English; fluency in Korean, Mandarin or Russian is desirable)
• Excellent communication skills
Personal skills:
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work towards deadlines
• Methodical and thorough approach to work
• Well-Organized
• Good at juggling tasks and prioritizing
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team to coordinate and lead the efforts of other professionals
• A desire to show initiative
