Ready for the challenge of a lifetime, working with the world’s leading company in microwave transmission? Ericsson is looking for a senior system designer to work with the specification of new products and functions. You will work with our successful microwave products including the MINI-LINK system. You’ll be responsible for architectural choices, implementation sketches and functioning as the technical driver and leader in our development projects.
You will be responsible for hardware and software architectural choices and will act as a technical leader in our development projects. You will also be responsible for some functional areas/blocks in the current products and here act as internal expert in your areas/blocks.
Competence:
Today you are probably working with system design for complex technical systems. You are curious to understand the context in which the products you develop are used.
You have extensive previous experience from hardware and software design, preferably 10 years. From this you have thorough experience one or several of the following fields:
• Hardware design involving PDH, SDH and Ethernet technologies
• ASIC/FPGA development
• Real time software development
• SNMP, XML and other management protocols
Preferably you have also experience from:
• Modeling with UML
• Requirement handling in large complex systems
• Experience from work in projects using incremental integration.
You should also have:
• A MSc or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Good written and spoken English and Swedish.
