hela Sverige Örebro University is seeking an epidemiologist or statistician at the School of Medical Sciences.
Duties and responsibilities
Applications are invited from epidemiologists, statisticians or other suitably qualified individuals to participate in epidemiological research. The post holder will be responsible for data analysis and data management to support and collaborate with researchers from a variety of institutions in Sweden and internationally.
Qualifications
Candidates should have graduated in a discipline with training in quantitative methods, such as health, medical, psychological, statistical, behavioural or social sciences. Key aspects of the job include data handling, statistical analysis and advising researchers on appropriate methods for analysis in observational and intervention studies. Knowledge of epidemiological research is highly desirable and experience in data handling and using statistical software such as Stata or SAS is essential. Research or research support experience is desirable, but more recently qualified applicants may be considered if they can demonstrate competence.
Close attention will be paid to your personal qualities, your ability to perform duties autonomously, your interpersonal skills and ability to cooperate, as well as your ability to relate to people in a way that inspires trust and confidence.

The position is a full-time permanent position.
