hela Sverige You will be a part of the global Quality & Regulatory team consisting of 17 persons, both men and women with different backgrounds. The team supports the development of healthcare ICT and mobile workflow products with compliance, standards and regulations.
As our Environmental and Quality Engineer you will work closely with R&D, product managers and supply chain to identify, interpret, define and establish environmental performance and compliance requirements for multiple countries. You will chair the environmental team involving representatives for our ISO 14001 sites to plan and follow up all activities in scope.
Responsibilities
• Select and measure environmental objectives and targets, analyze and interpret environmental requirements and elaborate and monitor environmental improvements in collaboration with process owners and managers.
• Monitor changes to environmental laws and regulations, and provide timely information about these changes to affected personnel.
• Develop methods to demonstrate compliance with environmental requirements and to measure fulfillment of environmental objectives.
• Monitor and report on progress towards meeting environmental objectives and compliance.
• Prepare and coordinate the implementation of the corporate sustainability roadmap.
• Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System as part of the Ascom management system.
• Prepare, host and conduct environmental audits, combined with quality management audits.
• Monitor and respond to requests from customers and other interested parties for environmental information.
• Provide information and training to employees about environmental and sustainability matters.
This is a full time position which involves occasional travel of up to 20 days per year for audits and other purposes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent, in Engineering, Science or corresponding academic merits.
• At least five (5) years' relevant working experience within science, technology or industry.
• Strong personal interest in environmental and sustainability improvement.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and implement regulations, standards, specifications and procedures.
• Ability to deliver presentations and training to professional audiences.
• Excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge and experience of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 9001 and of internal auditing.
• Experience of project management or coordination.
