The International School of Helsingborg (ISH), is authorised to teach, in English, three programmes (3-19 years of age) of the International Baccalaureate (IB). It is a public, non-fee paying school.

The students of ISH come from many different cultures and the staff work to create an internationally recognized education. The school strives to develop the student's academic and social skills in order to prepare them in the best way for the future.

Arbetsuppgifter
We currently require a student assistant for a Primary class for approximately 75% at the International School of Helsingborg. Responsibilities of the post include assisting with activities for children in the classroom and helping students socialize . You will be responsible for the overall care as well as the social development of the students.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player and will have the ability to work collaboratively with the teachers in the classrooms. It is an absolute must to have patience and to be understanding, yet firm. We are seeking an ambitious candidate with a strong interest in helping young children experience success in learning.

Kvalifikationer
previous work experience with children, preferrably as a classroom/student assistant.

fluent in English, both in speaking and writing

Qualities: patience, understanding, flexibility

You must have a valid criminal background check from Sweden. If you have lived in Sweden for less than 6 months, you also need a check from your home country.

Tjänsten tillsätts under förutsättning att tjänsten inte behöver tas i anspråk för redan tillsvidareanställda medarbetare.
