Every year the Valve department of HVDC executes the design of HVDC and Static Var Compensation (SVC) valves, procurement and manufacturing of several mega projects to be installed all over the world. This involves a lot of tasks and planning that need to be aligned in order to meet all our commitments.
This is where you as the Engineering Planner & Control Specialist at the Valve project management department comes into the picture. In your role you will update and maintain our time schedules in close collaboration with the project managers and Valve Main planner. You will also work closely together with the other planners at the valve department such as production and testing, in order to make the whole plan aligned.
Furthermore in this role you will also be responsible in supporting the follow up on KPIs, quality aspects and documentation of the valve projects.

Your responsibilities
Update and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Valve Project Managers
Coordinate with other planning functions within the global HVDC organization, in order to align all stakeholders such as production, testing and main project.
Monitor milestones (OTD - On Time Delivery) measurements for ongoing projects
Follow up of Valve Project Process and quality KPI's
Drive improvement initiatives
Coordinate Update of Valve Master Document List

Your background
You have experience in planning tools such as MS Project. Experience with Primavera, MS Power BI and MS Sharepoint is beneficial
Training in Lean Six Sigma or similar methods is meritorious
You are a person who likes to work with processes and quality
You are open minded and a team player
You enjoy working in diverse and multicultural teams and are interested to share your experiences and knowledge with your colleagues as well as learning from others
Proficiency in English is required for this role, additional language skills and/or Swedish is an advantage
