Are you an experienced people leader with an interest in business, confident navigating the interface between technology, business and product?
IAP & Economy business unit is now hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering teams in the product group Expand.
The IAP & Economy business unit will play a crucial role for Candy to be able to reach our ambitious goals of more than doubling the game in the coming years. The product group Expand is working with Candy's economy and motivational systems to offer more meaningful products and cater to more needs. By crafting an economy for everyone it allows us to build an experience that matters for every player.
You will be responsible for the overall success of the engineering teams working in close collaboration with the Producer, Tech Lead and other partners.
The Engineering Manager will also work closely with the Product Director, Business and Product Analysts, and Economy designers to discover new ways to further grow Candy Crush. You will translate our business needs and the product vision into your talent strategy. You play an integral part in finding, retaining, and develop the best talent, build successful, well-functioning, right-sized teams capable of delivering extraordinary features to our players!
You will:
Collaborate with tech- and product leadership to ensure your teams have the right tools, skills, and efficient processes.
Build, maintain and nurture relationships between business units
Be part of driving innovation, processes and develop efficient ways of working
Lead, develop, mentor, and grow technical specialists being part of cross-functional teams.
Drive and implement all people-related processes in collaboration with HR.
You are the Hiring Manager for engineers in your teams and you take complete ownership of the employee lifecycle.
Are responsible for performance management, recognition and talent retention.
Support the engineering organization in driving the continuous improvement of all talent-related processes and contribute to strategic areas of improvement related to our people.
You will be part of the product group leadership team consisting of Product Director and Producer and you will report into the Assoc. Director of Engineering.

To deliver a holistic and coherent experience to our players, we rely on cross-functional teams. You will lead Engineers who will be a part of the cross functional team. To succeed, you will need to work in tight collaboration with the Tech Lead and QA manager who are responsible for tech direction, production, and output of the whole cross-functional team.
