THE POSITION
As an Engineering Manager at TeamEngine, you will plan and coordinate engineering projects and supervise multiple teams in the development of new and existing products. You will be leading a diverse team of engineers as they develop, maintain, and test solutions to technical problems. You will also coordinate with the product management team, to ensure that we are building the best products.
You will provide leadership and technical skills, in an innovative and fast-paced environment. You will be based in our office in Stockholm (Vasastan).
YOU WILL PRIMARILY WORK WITH
• Supervising the work of 2-3 teams
• Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all engineers' activities and deliverables
• Contribute with leadership and technical knowledge to projects
• Goal setting individually and at a team level
• Assisting with training, talent development, and building the right teams
• Work closely with the product management team to ensure we're building the best products
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have a background in software engineering. You have excellent leadership skills and experience in project management. You have a strategic and analytical mindset and a problem-solving attitude. You are a great communicator with the ability to translate complex to simple, bringing ideas to life.
You care about your team, and you are passionate about giving feedback, mentoring, and helping people. You have solid engineering skills but are willing to learn and gain the expertise needed to be successful in your role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3 years of university degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience as a Scrum Master or with project management
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English
It is a merit if you have experience within:
• Working with remote teams
