We are now looking for a Engineer, HVAC and Thermal Logic!
Description
The role is within Powertrain & Chassis department. In this department 5 groups exist, which the Thermal Management and HVAC Systems Team is one. The group is constructed of 5 different areas, these are CFD/Thermal CAE, Thermal Systems, Interior HVAC, Electrical Hardware and Logic.
This position would be within the logic domain supporting the Lead Engineer for the Thermal & HVAC Logic. The person in this role will support the development of software code development in all stages of a project. These tasks will support the following areas:
• Compartment
• AC-control with electric compressor-EOH control-New functionality to support re-use of waste heat from driveline-Pre-Condition functionality - RESS
-Functionality for Energy handling and priority-Basic functionality implementation-Pre-Condition functionality-Battery temp control parked car drives new functionality eg. order wake-up/sleep - Power Electronics
-Basic functionality implementation-New functionality to support re-use of waste heat from driveline -Pre-Condition functionality - Platform Software/General
-Functionality for Energy handling and priority-Functionality for shared resources eg. Batt and Compartment shares AC-Functionality driven by 100+ new can signals eg. circ pumps, valves, new sensors etc.-Dtc/fault handling functionality
The role as Engineer for HVAC & Thermal Logic involves:
• Primary responsibility is to work with hand-code generation in C#
• Support the development of system and component level requirements.
• Develop design proposals and implementation.
• Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
• Maintain and develop development environment.
We are looking for someone who has;
• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience from software development with preference to application knowledge and automotive development
• Working development knowledge using C# is required.
• Knowledge of MatLab Simulink is desirable
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both spoken and written,
• Driver license B.

• Have good communication skills,
• Be able to plan and prioritize,
• Have and â'hands-on" approach in combination with great technical skills.
