Our Exciting Opportunity
The EMF Health and Safety unit within Ericsson Research is responsible for research, standardization, external cooperation, customer support and radio product testing related to exposure to radiofrequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (EMF). We have a state-of-the-art laboratory with tools for advanced electromagnetic measurements and simulations. The focus of the research activities is currently on 5G and advanced antennas.
We are looking for a Researcher to build and transfer competence and ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson. In this role, you will be developing novel solutions, contribute to standardization, and provide support and expertise to product development.
You will
Perform, document and communicate research studies, measurements and computer simulations
Create new technical solutions and protect them with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
Represent Ericsson at external forums such as standardization discussions, university collaborations as well as customer meetings
Work in our world-class laboratories
Make your footprint and contribute to groundbreaking research in exciting focus area at the EMF Health and Safety Research Unit
To be successful in the role you must have
A university degree: M.Sc. or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics or similar
Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
Good communication skills in written and spoken English
Ability to formulate problems and solve them independently
Creativity and ability to work independently
Additional Qualifications:
Good knowledge about electromagnetic fields and antennas
Practical experience of electromagnetic field computations
