EMEA Pulp & Paper Manager
SKF is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive our growth and innovation in the Pulp & Paper industry across the EMEA region. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to shape the future of a critical industrial sector, working at the intersection of market insight, product innovation, and commercial execution.
As the EMEA Pulp & Paper Manager, you will lead the development and execution of our regional strategy, foster strong customer partnerships, and ensure alignment with global product lines and sustainability goals. You will act as a strategic bridge between market needs, product development, and sales execution-positioning SKF as a preferred partner in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the EMEA Industry Strategy and Growth Plan, conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies, align EMEA strategy with global industry and product line objectives.
Market, Customer & Application Insight: Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, define value propositions tailored to industry-specific applications.
Portfolio & Innovation Management: Review and manage the application-driven product portfolio, Initiate and sponsor innovation projects based on market needs.
Customer Engagement & Partnerships: Build strategic partnerships with key customers, Represent SKF at major industry events and forums, Track and support new investment and renovation projects, Position SKF as a preferred development partner.
Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market: Define and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Sales, Support Sales Core Teams in executing industry plans, embed sustainability as a differentiator in the value proposition, Plan and execute seminars and webinars proactively.
Channel Management & Commercial Excellence: Ensure optimal product availability through the right channels, Drive fair pricing and efficient time-to-market strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams across Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing, develop a core team and regional champions for agile response, Coach and mentor team members to drive performance and alignment.
Performance Monitoring: Develop scorecards and track progress using metrics and KPIs, Report on industry performance to executive leadership.

Qualifications
Extensive experience in the Pulp & Paper industry, ideally in roles involving strategy, sales, or business development.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, industrial applications, and the competitive landscape.
Proven experience in managing a Sales or a global manufacturing setting, together with proven ability to lead cross-functional and international teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A passion for driving sustainable growth and innovation in the Pulp & Paper industry.
Engineering background supported by MBA is plus
