What will you do?
You will join our Common Core and Compute Platforms team, that is responsible for deep learning platforms as well as Linux kernel, drivers and boot loaders. The team is making sure that our SOC platforms can perform its best in terms of system performance, cyber security, video analytics etc. This is the foundation for Axis fantastic camera products. The position is hands-on in a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork and great spirit.
You will work with integration of AI accelerators and implementation of the APIs for the application developers making the solution HW agnostic. You will work in Linux environment. Included in your responsibilities is enabling new product features and mastering complex problems especially within the deep learning domain. Experimenting and developing new functionality to enhance our platform portfolio will be part of your daily work. You will play an important part in optimizing the performance of the system and, of course, you will be part of the thrilling journey from HW selection to product launch.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an engineer with experience of and a genuine interest in deep learning frameworks and driver development close to hardware SoC platforms. Experience with C/C++ as well as Linux C API is needed. You have a master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar.
You are challenged by, and enjoy, complex bug hunting, optimization and to truly enhance quality in the platforms and products we develop. You are an energetic and dedicated person with a strong personal drive and an ability to work unsupervised.
