Your workplace
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
At the division for Communication Systems, we develop software based products and solutions for land-, naval- and airbased military communication systems. The department for communication development is located in Järfälla and Linköping. With Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Networking technologies as a base we do product development and research. Presently we are involved in several exciting projects with international stakeholders and are looking for skilled engineers and researchers to our sites in Järfälla.
Your role
Software Developer
In our research and development projects, we work with the development of software for different types of communication systems. You will be working on design, implementation and verification of software of different radio communication subsystems and services.
Your qualifications
You are MSc engineer, preferably with some years of experience. You enjoy working in groups but can also work independently.
You are interested and have knowledge / experience in:
• Software development in C/C++ for embedded systems (embedded systems)
• DSP software development and real-time system.
• Testing and verification of embedded systems.
Desired Knowledge and Experience
• Linux and Windows development environment.
• Computer and radio communications with applications in software-defined radio (SDR).
• Radio communication technology.
• Modelling with UML.
