We are looking for an ambitious and responsible team player.

You have an open-minded attitude towards your work and work environment and a passion for education, entrepreneurship and innovation, especially in the medical and healthcare field.

Your mission
You will share your time between teaching and project management. You will have the overall responsibility for the final development and first execution of a new course (Digital health) and the EIT Health Innovation day for students. You will also be part of the team delivering at least one more course (Life science industry) and an incubation programme (Co-up lab, building on user-centred design methodologies and with a specific focus on prototyping).

Your work will include;

- Course and project (event) planning including finding guest speakers
- Execution of courses and projects including teaching
- Assessment and grading of assignments
- Evaluation of the courses and projects
- Taking active part in the UBE faculty


Your profile
Required qualifications (must be supported by documentation)

- Education within the fields of life science
- Education within innovation and entrepreneurship (in areas relevant for the mentioned courses and projects)
- Work experience from an entrepreneurial setting, e.g. a start-up (in areas relevant for the mentioned courses and projects)
- Experience of teaching at University level (in English)
- Proficiency in English (both speaking and writing)

Meriting qualifications (must be supported by documentation)

- Experience leading and developing courses
- Graduate from the Clinical Innovation Fellowships programme
- Graduate from the Master's programme in Bioentrepreneurship
- A solid network within the Life science industry, national and international
- Doctoral degree within a field that is relevant for the position

Personal skills

Since this recruitment involves intense interaction with students, your personal skills will be important such as good communication skills, structured and ability to collaborate, but also ability to run projects and work independently under time pressures and with, in some cases, limited instructions.

Karolinska Institutet, Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics

The department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) works within several of the strategic areas important to improve human health. We focus on research, development and education in medical education, ethics, informatics, medical management, statistics and prevention

It's an exciting work environment where research and education are the focus. LIME has about 150 employees and is located in Solna Campus.

Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE)

The Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) conducts research on and education in innovation and entrepreneurship. A two-year global Master's programme in Bioentrepreneurship (MBE) is offered at the unit, together with programme elective and single subject courses. UBE is the KI node of the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (an academic collaboration between KI, the Stockholm School of Economics, the Royal Institutet of Technology, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, and Stockholm University) providing interdisciplinary education. UBE is also involved in a number of educational projects funded by EU. With the help of these projects, KI wants to encourage students, researchers and others to develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset and approach.
