About this opportunity
The Compliance Office at Ericsson has the responsibility to support the business in three compliance areas: Compliance with competition law, Compliance with corruption and bribery law) and Anti-money laundering. The Group Compliance Office develop the Ethics and Compliance Program (E&C Program) that is to be implemented throughout the Ericsson organization. In the role as E&C Implementation Manager you will drive the implementation of the program in one or several main units such as Business Areas or Group Functions. You will also play a vital part ensuring that the organizational needs are fed back to the program for development or drive local initiatives. The skill of being a change agent is vital! And of course you will gain a lot of competence in the areas that you are driving.
What you will do
Specific responsibilities may vary depending on the needs of the organization but may include the following.
You will on behalf of the Business Area/Group Function (BA/GF) Compliance Head:
Manage implementation and ensure organizational readiness of E&C Program initiatives for the assigned organization, including facilitating the development and execution of communications and training plans
Drive development and implementation of locally decided E&C Initiatives
Coordinate communications to and efforts of BA/GF Compliance Champions in the supported organizations
Support the development, implementation planning and provide feedback to E&C program group wide initiatives
Monitoring implementation status and risks. Report progress to stakeholders and BA/GF Leadership teams
Support together with BA/GF Compliance Officers in developing the BA/GF Compliance Office operational plan.
Lead implementation-related meetings for the relevant BA/GF Compliance Office to ensure progress against implementation plans.
Interfaces
The Implementation Manager will collaborate with the following individuals across the organization
Compliance Strategy Office -responsible for development of the E&C Program Strategy and Operational Plan and management and oversight of the E&C Program implementation
Head of BA/GF Compliance Office and Compliance Officers - responsible for operationalization of E&C Program, implementation efforts and providing subject matter expertise in ethics and compliance
Compliance Champions - advise, and assist the with implementation of E&C Program initiatives within their organization
BA/GF Internal Communications - provide subject matter expertise and assist with communications required for implementation of E&C Program initiatives
BA/GF People Function - provide subject matter expertise and assist with training and other People related information and matters required for implementation of E&C Program initiatives
What you will bring
High level of integrity with character consistent with Ericsson values; must be empathetic and willing to listen.
High performer with strong change management skills. Leading major change initiatives at Ericsson strongly preferred.
Ability to work and navigate cross-functionally
Excellent communication skills required; ability to prepare executive-level presentations strongly preferred.
Proven track record in leading people and managing stakeholders.
Well-anchored with good reputation within Ericsson, specifically with BA or GF management teams.
Provide in-depth Ericsson business, organization, process and tools knowledge
Experience from related governance, finance or internal control environment
Proficiency in English required
Travel may be required
