What you will be a part of

Public Safety is a unit within Saab, which develops complex, business-critical management systems in the field of civil security on a global market. Our systems are for example used by police, ambulances, rescue services, airports, security guards, cash-in-transport operations and within the transport segment. We work closely with our customers and are driven by a strong customer and user focus.
We work in teams using scrum and agile methods. For us itâEURTMs important with competence development and knowledge exchange, as well as providing the best opportunities for our teams to carry out good work and develop. The balance between work and leisure is a given in our company. We are now looking for a driven 1st line manager to join our growing team within Test and Infrastructure.
Your role
You will work closely with your team and colleagues to enable our focus on Test Driven Development as well as moving our development environment to be become world class efficient and stable. You will help us to always strive towards an even better Continuous Integration and a highly efficient testing framework and you will have a high focus on our internal infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include recruitment and competence development, salary setting as well as work environment responsibility amongst other things. You will work closely with other managers in the department towards reaching our common goals as well as enabling a good working environment with job satisfaction in focus.
Today the developers work in small close-knit teams composed of different skills to ensure the best possible prerequisites for them to perform as a team. As a 1st line manager you are responsible for developing and ensuring the agile approach and professional development of your staff.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in leadership and in a good way can create conditions for employees to develop, perform and feel good. We believe that you have experience in managing people as well as experience from the software industry.
We also believe that you have a keen interest in developing our testing ability and our internal infrastructure to enable our organization to become even more efficient
You are a change leader who has the courage and willingness to drive the business forward. You are business-like and focused on the customer. For you to enjoy working with us we believe that you have the ability to provide energy and create commitment within the group, where cooperation and communication are key words.
As we work in an international environment it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
