Environmental Science is a broad interdisciplinary research subject that includes global development questions and their relation to sustainability problems, challenges and possible solutions. This includes focuses on crucial aspects of human-nature relations applying different lenses and approaches, with particular emphasis given to power, equity, governance, democracy, knowledge(s), and change. Environmental Science (including this PhD position) at Södertörn University focuses on two integrated themes: (1) Environment and (2) Sustainability Challenges and Pathways.
