www.twitter.com/metsogroupWe are looking for a leader for our Refiner segments business. Your global responsibility will be leading and developing our global segment business. Our production units in Hagfors and Valkeakoski will be a part of your responsibility.
You will be a key member of the Technology unit Fiber process parts, which is part of the Performance parts business unit. You will have a profit and loss responsibility with a primary focus to maintain and solidify our number one market position in a changing market environment. You have strong business skills. It is easy for you to understand customer needs and apply them to our offerings.
You will collaborate with colleagues in other Metso and Pulp, Paper & Power organizations in order to achieve growth targets. You will also work closely with our customers to actively promote segments solutions.
New product applications and innovations have been, and will continue to be, crucial for our success; so you must have strong drive and competencies to continue this heritage and develop it further. It is natural for you to lead and motivate the organization to reach and exceed goals.
You are open minded and it is easy for you to communicate inside and outside your organization. You are able to effectively manage performance, develop and track metrics and report on business progress as needed. Your ability to align and execute the strategy and tactics of the Refiner segments business to the overall Service strategy will be an important success factor.
The successful candidate also has:
• A Bachelor's degree in technology, industrial finance or related field with a Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressively senior experience, including several years of management experience, in the industry or related industry with similar types of performance wear parts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.
• Financial acumen with analytical and P&L skills required.
• Successful track record of leadership with an ability to build, inspire and lead teams to achieve goals, with a key requirement being a demonstrated ability to obtain results in a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of key cultural differences and ability to adapt communication style accordingly. Skilled at working across global boundaries.
• Demonstrated ability to create an environment that respects and encourages cross-cultural collaboration.
• Ability to quickly establish credibility, influence others, build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively on an international basis.
