Clinical Pharmacology promotes efficient and safe drug use through a wide range of consultative and laboratory services. We work with technology and research and development (R&D) in the fore front and have about 130 employees in Huddinge and Solna.
We are now looking for a Director of the Doping Control Laboratory situated in Huddinge, south of Stockholm.
The Doping Control Laboratory conducts analysis in sports testing in line with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) doping list, receiving around 12 000 samples on a yearly basis. The laboratory has at present 23 co-workers and is one of approximately 30 laboratories in the world accredited to conduct doping analysis. The laboratory monitors and detects a wide range of doping substances and doping methods and reports results according to accredited quality systems. Much resources are invested in R&D in the field of bioanalysis and the laboratory has a strong representation at international conferences and publishes in scientific journals. In R&D there is close collaboration with the Karolinska Institute and also with the sister laboratories for Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Drugs of Abuse within the FA Clinical Pharmacology. The employees possess high competence in chromatographic techniques linked to mass spectrometry such as LC-MS/MS, LC-HRMS, GC-MS/MS and GC-C-IRMS.
