Then this might be a job for you!HR Center of Expertise (HR CoE) Sweden at Volvo Group is right now looking for a strong Health & Safety Director, as our current Health & Safety Director will move on to new challenges within the company. The primary focus of HR CoE Sweden is to achieve an alignment of Volvo Group HR strategic goals and direction. We work cross all organizations and brands for Sweden, such as Volvo Trucks, Volvo Penta, Volvo Construction Equipment etc; covering more than 20.000 employees in Sweden. We also work closely with our global teams to identify and address country specific needs and challenges. HR CoE consists of 14 experts in 4 different areas; Health & Safety, Labor Relations, Compensation & Benefits and Talent & Leadership. HR CoE Sweden is part of the Group HR function at Volvo Group and you will report directly to the Vice President HR CoE, Sweden. You would be teamleader of our Health & Safety function that currently consists of two Health & Safety Experts.Mission/Purpose of the JobBe a Health & Safety ambassador to create interest in and desire of H&S knowledge and culture. Drive and be responsible for different Health & Safety transformation projects on Swedish Volvo Group level. Consult the Volvo Group organizations about their needs at country level and translate that into Health & Safety activities. Interpret law and legislation and support organizations in compliance assurance. Monitor that working conditions are harmonized at country level when appropriate. Support the organizations implementation of Health and Safety strategy, policies, methods, tools and guidelines within area of responsibility. Secure that we are ahead when it comes to preventive work with stress and mental health. To summarize; do everything that is needed to have a great, strong and proactive Health and Safety culture in one of Sweden's largest companies.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Drive and be responsible for different Health & Safety projects in order to improve H&S culture, awareness, processes, way of working, etcLead a Health & Safety Functional working group, with representatives from all different organizations and brands for Volvo Group Sweden, where you coordinate and drive Health & Safety agenda on national Volvo Group levelBe part of a global Health & Safety Functional working groupBe part of HR Management team on Swedish level where we decide the Health & Safety agendaBe team leader of Health & Safety functionProvide advice and support the different organizations in Health & Safety expertise and compliance assurance, such as interpret national laws and agreementsBe responsible for Health & Safety communication at country levelEducate and train key stakeholders in Health & SafetyPreferred Educational and/or Training Qualifications and CertificatesUniversity Degree, preferable master level in Health & Safety areaFormal trainings in leadership, communication, project management and/or people skills would be valuablePreferred Experience and Knowledge:Senior Health & Safety management experience and also cross-functional background is valuableDeep knowledge and understanding within area of Health & SafetyExperience from operational work in Health and Safety requiredProfessional understanding of country laws and regulations, and deep understanding of the labor marketStrong project management skills, leadership and influencing skillsStrong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into Health & Safety priorities and actionsPeople and result oriented senior Health & Safety person, with the ability to work and manage multiple priorities in a complex environmentExperience of coaching and facilitationPassion for Health & Safety and ability to engage othersNecessary Language Skills:Proficiency both in Swedish and English language is required.For more information, please contact:Lisa Bergqvist Jurin, Vice President HR, Center of Expertise Sweden, phone +46 739 023494Josefin Junerup, HR Business Partner, phone: +46 31 323 75 75
