Digital Experience (DEx) is a part of Consumer Experience Platforms belonging to Global Marketing within Global Consumer Experience.

As all marketing activity becomes more dependent on the effective use of customer data and digital technologies, this section is one of the most strategically essential roles in delivering our long-term business strategy "The Volvo Way" - with Digital leadership as the vision. DEx handles the digital communication with consumers from the point where they start showing an interest in buying a Volvo Car, through the purchase, ownership and ultimately until they buy their next Volvo Car. The touch points are mainly within Volvocars.com, My Volvo, but also with different apps, in retail and in different events. In the end we aim to create a personalised, engaging and uncomplicated customer experience by developing a digital ecosystem with relevant services and communication.

As a Digital Project Manager for Market Information, you will be responsible for the best practice sharing with our regions and markets as well as setting up new services towards our regions/markets. You will also be expected to ensure and develop the area in close cooperation with internal stakeholders and external agencies as well as manage the relations with the different vendors/agencies and drive to ensure smooth and flexible platform deliverables.

The position reports to the Director of Digital Experience

Main responsibilities
• Management the communication with markets, both directly but also in fora's
• Drive the improvement of working processes to maximise efficiency and reduce cost
• Be responsible for overall way-of-working within the markets services area for Digital Experience
• Lead the development of a platform for sharing best practices and needs
• Set the strategy for further improving cross-functional cooperation
• Secure delivery capabilities and operational efficiency, technology and methodology development on both short and long sight.
• Break internal silos and work cross channels and departments securing end customer benefits
• Day-to-day management of the vendors and agency deliverables
• Forecast, plan and follow up on budget and finances.

Required Qualifications
• Academic degree in business
• Experience from working in a global environment,
• Experience from a market company (mandatory), preferable within APAC.
• Experience from Project Management
• Sales and/or business development experience
• Documented experience within the digital area
• Profound interest in developing the business and customer experience
• Broad cross-functional work experience
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English, both verbally and written. Other languages are meritorious
