The opportunity
At Worldline, connecting and securing payment transactions is what we do daily. Covering the entire payment value chain, our technological guides craft and operate digital platforms that handle the millions of highly critical transactions between a company, its partners and its customers.
Currently, we are looking for an authority DevOps AWS Architect for our Merchant Services API platform.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Our autonomous agile teams work with a strong DevOps culture and if you build it, you run it! This means that you are responsible for:
Delivering your team's committed objectives, this include adapting to whatever is needed to reach the goal you and your team committed to reach.
Securing an outstanding qualitive service availability 24/7/365 and 3rd line on-call duty is expected according to a rotating schedule
Defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across Commercial Acquiring Technology to help ensure the system or solution is fit for its intended purpose.
Describing the solution context and solution intent, analyze technical trade-offs, determine the primary components and subsystems, identify the interfaces and collaborations between them, define NFRs, guide enablers through the various backlogs
Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives
Actively participate in the exploration process, especially with enabler epics
Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context
Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements
Operate within an economic framework when analyzing the impact of design decisions
Work with portfolio stakeholders to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enabler epics
Plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business features and capabilities
Provide oversight and foster built-in quality and team and technical agility

Motivated by driving progress and willing to act by taking the necessary decisions to achieve result
You are comfortable in a fast-moving environment - handling many different stakeholders, prioritizations and fast decision is not an issue for you
Skills we can't do without
As our new AWS DevOps Architect you need to have:
Confirmed senior experience in software development and coding in various languages including Java, Python, JS, React, HTML/CSS, and SQL etc.
Background in micro-service, high availability and serverless software architecture and design running on AWS distributed over several availability zones and regions.
As a result, we would like you also to have proficient knowledge in
AWS cloud services including DynamoDB, Lambdas, ESC, RDS, Terraform, CloudFormation.
Jenkins Pipeline and GIT, CI/CD, Release on Demand
Docker
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or other meaningful field
Deepened knowledge of software architecture and design including information security. Experience from API platforms is desirable.
Good knowledge modeling methods
A deep understanding of software quality assurance principles
Fluency in English and preferably Swedish
Skills we'd like
It would be great if you have the following skills as well:
Knowledge of DevSecOps ways of working and culture including fostering the DevOps culture, automation, lean flow, measurement, and recovery.
Paying attention to commitment, accountability and result for yourself and for your team.
Experience from developing secure and/or PCI-DSS certified solutions is considered an advantage
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
A technical mindset with phenomenal attention to detail
High quality interpersonal and leadership skills
Having a curious mindset, continuously learning and sharing your knowledge with your peers and others.
