The group engine lubrication system within engine development is responsible for designing and testing parts aimed for excellent and robust ICE lubrication system with world leading performance for different brands within the Traton group. As a designer you will be part of an innovative team developing our products with a tough target "Fit for the future". This means deliver customer value and at the same time reducing the environmental impact according to the Science Based Targets.

We are now strengthening the team for lubrication system ICE with a design engineer to be able to fulfill and deliver our new sustainable products. Previous work experience within the field is favorable but we also welcome newly graduated applicants.
Your assignment
As a development engineer within our group you will be responsible for hardware parts as pipes, casted aluminum, plastic parts and brackets etc. This means that you design parts, do CAD modelling, create drawings by always have synergies and modularization between engine platforms in focus. You will work closely with the design engineers responsible for neighboring parts. You will define tasks for simulation and test activities according to design guidelines.
In this role, you will:
Play a vital part in the development of our components. All the way from idea to a finished product.
Collaborate closely with multiple cross-functions within Scania such as other design teams, calculation engineers, purchasing, aftermarket and production.
Collaborate with our Traton colleagues at MAN Truck & Bus, Navistar and suppliers distributed all over the world.
Work independently but with great support and knowledge exchange between colleagues in the group.
Your profile
You are goal-oriented and interested to expand your skillset in future-oriented technologies to fulfill future environmental demands for the ICE
You have a positive attitude and you are a person that take initiative, enjoy learning new things and like to work with varying tasks
An academic education in mechanical or design engineering is required
You should master English in speech and writing
