Responsibility
Chemical Analysis is a central resource within AkzoNobel PPC located in Bohus. The department is working with research and development projects, market support, trouble shooting and development of new analytical methods. Chemical Analysis is also performing analysis of raw material, products and environmental samples for the producing units of AkzoNobel PPC. Twenty three people are working at the department mainly with the competence areas of wet chemistry, spectroscopy and chromatography. The development engineer is working in the chromatography group with performing analysis,method development and participate in R&D projects.
The main responsibilities include:
• Perform analyses together with clients
• Perform advanced analyses and method development
• Participate in R&D projects and activities
• Plan and perform activities as decided together with manager, project leader and client.
Job requirements / Candidate profile
• Master of science in chemistry or several years of experience with focus on GC/LC
• Experience of analytical work
• Curious and creative with good analytical skills
• Ability to network within and outside the organization
• Idependent and a strong drive to get things done
• Flexible with good interpersonal skills
• Good English, both written and spoken
