Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Do you want to be the driving force behind the development of the next generation of Scania engines?
If you are interested in performance and emissions for combustion engines including exhaust after treatment and are a driven person with the urge to learn new things - We can offer you a challenging position as a Development Engineer in a stimulating and learning environment within engine performance & emissions analysis!
Our department
You will be working within the section ENME - Emissions & Integration. Our goal is to fulfill legal and project demands to achieve the best performance while maintaining the lowest fuel consumption and highest uptime possible on the Scania 6-cylinder engine and as well for MAN.
Our team
We are a team of 9 development engineers and one group manager. We are a mix of different personalities and experiences with different backgrounds which makes us a complementary and diverse team. We always strive to work in teams, small or big, so no one is left behind. We support each other to enable a healthy work-life balance, we have an open climate and have fun together. We have developed a good working relationship with our colleagues at MAN so together we are a competitive joint force in developing the future product.
We offer

A great part of the work is conducted in an engine test bed and a test vehicle with the following analysis and report writing. The main focus for you will be on handling a large amount of data collected from vehicle tests and the analysis to ensure that we are fulfilling the legal demands for emissions in real driving conditions.
Your profile
To succeed in this role we believe that you are a positive person who takes initiative, without prestige, and has a good communication skill since the position requires contacts with several different development teams and departments.
