As a Developer you will develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, product documentation.
In this position you will work in a team that has system verification responsibility for Ericsson Baseband product(s) in the 5G context. Your part will primarily be to do solution package implementation/validation, BB system test & integration support, cloud infrastructure support within test-areas such as Serviceability, Vulnerability and G3. You will be working together with other development and test teams secure proper system behavior and SW quality levels.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Perform test analysis, participate in pre-studies and feature systemization as needed.
Perform trouble shooting, configuration changes, and continuous deployment support.
System test & integration support and competence transfer towards various stakeholders - mainly RA programs and BB modules.
Legacy uplifts, test automation, delivery into BT CI loops, support towards PDU 4G5G NodeCI environment & releases.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Core Competences
Testing, troubleshooting, problem solving, E2E & system thinking.
Ability to perform test analysis, evaluate test results, and produce a verdict.
Lean and Agile knowledge and skills, value driven development mindset.
Product development knowledge and SW craftsmanship.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Transport network protocols & interfaces (switching & routing, L2/L3, IPv6, IPSec, DHCP, VLAN, SSH, Ethernet, etc.)
ENM/OSS, JCAT, test automation, some baseband / DUS / eNodeB knowledge, 3GPP specifications, scripting languages, etc.
Cloud / OpenStack, Linux, DPDK
Previous leadership or OPO experience a plus
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge.
English language
