For our client we are now recruiting a Destination Specialist. The position includes trading and buying capacity in international telecom networks.
The Destination Specialist is responsible for the overall profitability of all allocated destinations, steering the buying, routing and selling/pricing activities for each. This includes setting target costs, floor prices, special prices, approval of volume commitments, daily optimisation of the cost base within agreed quality parameters, gathering market intelligence and providing commercial support to the Trading sales teams.

Setting Floor Prices for all voice products
Jointly accountable for delivering on the financial targets assigned to the Voice Business
Highly focused on driving development of systems and processes to improve analytical and business management capabilities
Key Responsibilities  
Maximise the yield of the Trading business by working to increase volumes and revenue and driving cost reductions
Acquisition of market intelligence (understanding the regulatory and commercial environment in all key markets)
Development and maintenance of country plans, outlining the framework and strategy for all key destinations
Drive and implement buying and pricing strategies
               i.      Steering the buying activities of the Trading and Special Deals sales teams to generate options for cost base reduction
               ii.     Steering all pricing activity in order to maximise the yield
Close co-operation with the Trading and Special Deals sales teams in all activities which will maximise the yield
Optimise and set the cost base within agreed quality parameters
Setting targets for and approval of volume commitments and other special deals
Monitor and optimise the fulfilment of volume commitments
Setting price floors for all TSIC voice products including approval of special rates as appropriate
Drive changes to TSIC’s numbering plan in line with customer requirements and buying opportunities
Capacity management
Interaction with key clients when required
Fault resolution (review of trouble tickets)
Close co-operation with CCI and Networks to maintain an efficient fault resolution process
Provide input to the development of support systems in line with the requirements of the Trading operation
Special Requirements 
The Destination Specialist must be prepared to work unsociable hours as and when required to meet the demands of the position
The position may require some international travel to meet the demands of an international operation
The position demands a high degree of integrity
Person Specification
A holistic understanding of the voice wholesale industry
A solid record of achievement within a trading environment 
Highly developed analytical skills
Understanding the functionality of international voice networks 
Problem solver with ability to quickly implement practical solutions
A competitive mindset with the desire to win
Skilled and influential negotiator
Analytical and accurate
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Experience/Education
3+ years business experience
1+ years business experience within a Trading environment 
Experience of working within a multicultural environment
Experience of working in a business with global operations
University degree in business or related discipline
